Church History
“Wednesday March 29th, 2000 while I, Donald E. Jones, was driving to Dayton, Ohio, at 800 am, to visit one of my customers, the Lord spoke to me and told me to start a church named World Faith Harvest Fellowship Church and use these Scriptures:
Matthew 9:37 & 38, “The Harvest is Truly plentiful but the laborers are few.”
Acts 2:41-47 and Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepth the law, happy is he”.
After much prayer and fasting I shared the vision with my wife, Johnnie B. Jones. We prayed together for God’s will and timing to be done. Thursday, April 27th, 2000, we met with a few Christian friends, in our home at 10049 Manistee Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251, and shared God’s vision with them”.
Thursday April 27th, 2000 was the day that Elder Donald E. Jones became the Founder & Pastor of World Faith Harvest Fellowship Church, located in his home at 10049 Manistee Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251.
Tuesday May 2nd, 2000, we held devotion and prayer services and prepared for our first worship service, which was Sunday May 7th, 2000. A roll call was taken of the charter members: Elder Donald E. Jones, Founder & Pastor, Johnnie B. Jones, Donald E. Jones III, Quincy L. Jones, Alysha Walker, Andre Walker, Anthony Walker, Larenda Jackson, Bernard Jackson II, Elaine Mills, Paul Mills Sr., Paul Mills II and Brandon Mills.
Sunday May 7th, 2000, we held our first, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Praise and Worship Service in the Jones’ home at 10049 Mainstee Way, Cincinnati, Oh 45251. At that service, three new members joined our church family. They were Minister Sheri Bostic, Demetria Wilburn, and Mrs. Annell Williams (Pastor’s Mother).
June 13th, 2000 World Faith Harvest Fellowship Church became a Charter Church No. 1162645, incorporated as an Ohio not-for-profit church. Currently in good standing with the State of Ohio.
Friday & Saturday November 17th & 18th, 2000 “The First Annual Presbyters Retreat” was held at Kings Island Resort. During that time, Pastor Donald E. Jones shared his vision for the church which the Lord had given him. The church would remain at 10049 Manistee Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251. But before the Spring of May 2001, we would look to move into either a school building or YMCA or some other store front building.
Sunday April 1st, 2001, we held, PRAISE THE LORD, our first Praise & Worship Service in our New Church Location, Taylor Elementary School, located at 3173 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, OH 45251.

Sunday September 15th, 2002 the church conducted a ground-breaking ceremony at 10456 Pippin Rd. It had rained that day; the ground was muddy and our shoes were covered with mud. But that didn’t matter. We can laugh about that now, as Minister Mills said, “We came from dirt”.

Even though he had no prior knowledge about building church, he was the General Contractor. Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me”. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
December 22nd, 2002, eight weeks later, WFHF Church Family marched into our new Sanctuary at 10456 Pippin Rd. “To God Be The Glory”. We have come this far by Faith. Leaning on the Lord, He has never failed us yet.
Luke 5:31-32, “And Jesus answering said unto them. They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance”.
We thank God for adding all the new members, who were either baptized or came on their Christian experience to join the WFHF Church Family.

Let them praise His name in dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp. Psalm 150:6, “Let everything that hath breath, Praise the Lord, Praise ye the LORD.”
